BOUROULLEC

22-page story on the Bouroullec brothers for Disegno magazine

Spent a couple of days shooting the Bouroullec brothers. In their Parisian studio and at the Centre Pompidou Metz for the installation of their solo show. These are two relaxed down to earth guys designing for companies like Vitra, Alessi and Kartel… With one of my strong personal favorites being The Osso Chair for Mattiazzi, unpainted in natural wood color of course.

PIERRE

New model Pierre passed by at my bastille hangout for a last little shoot before the holidays. Snapped some portrais and got to play around with my good old Polaroid 600SE

Linus:  So pierre what’s your story?
Pierre:  I’m 22 years old, born and raised in paris, recently moved to Milan for my studies, been modeling for 3 months and just signed with Major Models

Linus:  What is beauty to you?
Pierre:  Sleeping!

Linus:  If you could give me just one life advice what would it be?
Pierre:  Never let success go to your head, never let failure go to your heart

BROKEN

fallen trees in the Norsa bird protection area

From the information leaflet :

“We leave all the fallen trees. This might look like a mess to you, but bugs and insects love it, and birds love bugs and insects”

DUCK

GRAVES

graves in my hometown Köping from around 400 – 1 050 AD

The archaeologists only found women in these graves. This is quite uncommon in the rest of Sweden, leading to the conclusion that women had a strong part in society here.

WILDWOODS

Recent collaboration project, art direction by Anne Denastas

Joined forces with Anne who made amazing huge origamis for this autumn fairy tale. Mixing it all with a baking flour battle. Such a joy shooting children with this great uninhibited energy. After shoot heading back in the metro the white flour covered team was certainly turning heads.
